Oh and apparently, Kirei isn't even Cu's Master in this. And somehow, Shirou, using his as previously said explicitly unmasterable martial art, breaks both of Cu's arms, then starts strangling him, at which point the scene ends and Tohsaka, Rider, Saber and Medea arrive. Shirou then proceeds to fight Cu barehanded, mano a mano. Nevermind putting so much energy into it would definitely make it blow up and therefore instantly shred Shirou. Nevermind, also, that breaking Gae Bolg in such a way not only would take far more than what Shirou can scrounge up in a few instants and that it really couldn't happen in such a short time. Nevermind Cu is a fucking battle junky, hardened by war, who's likely reaction to Shirou managing to guess his name would be "Nice ! You're smart and have quick thinking, you must be fun to fight !" And he'd go extra hard, not be shocked. Then, while Gae Bolg is still between his elbow and knee, Shirou says Cu Chulainn's name, which apparently destabilizes Cu Chulainn long enough for Shirou to use reinforcement on Gae Bolg and pour too much energy in it on purpose, breaking it apart. When he tries do it without her help against Archer in UBW, he can't even scratch Archer, who's vastly slower and weaker than Cu. Nevermind the fact that Kuzuki was only able to do that thanks to Medea's help, and the fact that he knew the ambush was coming. So Shirou, catches Gae Bolg between his elbow and knee, using that martial art and his own reinforcement. The author's train of thought is that "Kuzuki was able to do this, and since my Shirou has been training in Kuzuki's martial art since a few years, he should too" despite forgetting his own claim earlier, when said training was first referenced, that Shirou would never be able to master a martial art made for assassination. More in detail, Shirou, without back up from a Servant, beat Cu, broke both his arms, strangled him, and BROKE GAE BOLG. This make harder for author to write a fanfic that still follow the lore, with a discord server or subreddit, it will be easy to ask everyone about the lore. The second reason is to help fanfic's author write their fic, Nasuverse at a whole is complicated. So a place to discuss about Fanfic is good (i think). Most of the big community about Fate and Nasuverse (aside from beast lair) don't discuss about fanfic much. Thirdly, i am thinking of creating a place to discuss Fate and Type-moon fanfiction (a subreddit or discord server?).
